Farm 1840 is a historic 5-acre farm in the local Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania area. This farm is owned by the Hammaker-Poole Family. We have spent many years thoughtfully restoring the barn to keep its historic charm. The farm is available to be rented for weddings, corporate events, funerals, retreats, private parties, and charity events.  The event venue will include the renovated barn, newly constructed courtyard, pond, and property grounds.

The barn has been renovated and restored to promote the history of Farm 1840. A unique pond with a rock wall fountain will be created from the blue limestone removed from the grounds. The property is one of the original Konhaus barns that are prominent in the region and historical.

If you want a beautiful affordable breathtaking place to have your event this is the venue for you. The barn amenities are heating and air conditioning, bathrooms, and a caterer’s kitchen. You can choose the vendors you want for your event. Our barn can seat up to 221 inside and more in our courtyard area.
